ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS 

Perpetually exceeded all management objectives to gain efficiencies and cost reductions, and provided management oversight to client relations. Reduced operating costs while designing and building systems and solutions with low downtime and high reliability by successfully identifying and implementing solutions that support business objectives.

Successfully managed a team of technologists in the deployment of a Microsoft Exchange services network to support a migration from CC: Mail to MS Exchange for a multiple server campus environment for the Social Security Administration software engineering facility, which resulted in the reduction of the total number of servers, software, and technical support, saving an estimated $4.2M over five years. The effort resulted in a Social Security Administration Directors Citation.

Assessed data center requirements, developed redundant data centers to support business continuity and disaster recovery operations to support a local cloud infrastructure supporting global business applications.

Successfully remediated 14 Business Software Alliance (BSA) and Microsoft software audits globally in-which total software asset compliance was achieved and without additional financial expenditures or imposed fines for non-compliance.

Pioneered datacenter server virtualization utilizing Microsoft Hyper-V to reduce server foot prints in 40 different countries as well as reducing environmental costs and TCO.

Developed operational networking and computing use policies and procedures and developed practical, cost effective solutions to complex information technology challenges utilizing ITIL and Six Sigma, which reduced production time by 25% and known cost savings in operations by $875K

Implemented a helpdesk solution to support daily networking and support operations, thus reducing errors in support requests and lost time in production as well as providing metrics on departmental operations. This system also supported a full inventory control system for both software and hardware to support $9.6M in physical equipment and software licensing compliance from cradle to grave.

Launched network service and Video Conferencing systems, Global Telephone Systems, Mobile Computing Technology, Data Communication Networks and Satellite Communications networks to support global operations with 40 different countries and remote sites.

Conceptualized and implemented a Software Asset Management (SAM) solution to support software compliance and re-purposing of unused software thus reclaiming software reducing software asset TCO.
Received the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Directors Award for sustained contribution in information security.

Direct oversight and management of data and communications to facilitate additional remote business units of other states.

Supervised thirteen employees in Network Operations, Systems Administration and Network Security and Software Development. Created and published systems operational procedures for each of the IT departments.
Initiated, implemented and managed computing consulting services as a solution provider for NIEHS to support positive growth and network stability using industry best practices.
Implementation of  total cost of ownership programs to support a LINUX, SUN, AIX and Windows server environment to support environment to support enterprise-wide strategic systems architectures..

Leadership and management of  a multi-forest Active Directory LINUX, SUN, and Windows network as a contractor. Oversaw utilization of 154 servers in a campus environment for the Social Security Administration. Managed the planning and implementation of enterprise-wide strategic and tactical systems architectures. This ranged from state-of-the-art web-based and emerging technologies to support of the social Security Administration.

Vice President of Network Operations (1999-2001)

Operations management of a 225-server large contact center. The infrastructure included 1,400 desktop computers along with routing and communications equipment. Support of internal and external functions through a centralized helpdesk across the campus. Also Participation as an ISO 9000 auditor.
Designed and built a new 18,000 square foot datacenter with redundant environmental support systems.
Developed and managed budgets in the excess of $4.7M to support the build out of datacenter.
Served as the Disaster Recovery Chairman developing BCP/DR plans.

Provided cradle to grave IT support for a large Fedders Corporation manufacturing facility. Provided logistical support of new and emerging technologies to support product development, engineering and delivery of refrigeration compressors and related technology. Played a key role as an ISO auditor.
